Biography
Dawn Antelope is a potter from Taos Pueblo who works with micaceous clay in the coil style traditional to the pueblo [source: Dana Everts 10/30/1987]. He received a teaching certificate to complement a degree in history and journalism from New Mexico Highlands University in 1979. In 1980, he began making traditional pottery, a skill he learned from his mother, Rafaelita Espinoza. He currently works as a licensed substance abuse counselor.
