This collection has not been processed, and no finding aid is available. Nellie Dunton, wife of artist William ‘Buck’ Dunton, studied and sketched design patterns found on Spanish Colonial colchas. In 1935 she published a portfolio of hand-colored plates, The Spanish Colonial Ornament and the Motifs Depicted in the Textiles of the Period of the American Southwest, which was instrumental in the colcha revival.
